Ingredients:

For the Salad:

- 1 Braveheart Sirloin Filet Steak

- 8 ounces of your favorite pasta (penne, fusilli, or rotini work well)

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- Salt and black pepper, to taste

- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces

- 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella cheese balls, halved (optional)

- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

- 1/4 cup black olives, pitted and sliced

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

For the Dressing:

- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

- Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool down the pasta. Set aside.

  2. Season the Braveheart Black Angus Beef with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or to your desired level of doneness.

  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it thinly against the grain.

  5. Whisk together 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.

  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, torn basil leaves, mozzarella cheese (if using), sliced red onion, and black olives.

  7. Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients.

  8. Toss the salad gently to combine all the ingredients and coat them evenly with the dressing.

  9. Lay the sliced Braveheart Black Angus Beef on top of the salad.

  10. Garnish the salad with grated Parmesan cheese.

  11. Serve immediately, or refrigerate for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to meld.

  12. Enjoy your Tomato Basil Pasta Salad with Braveheart Black Angus Beef as a delicious and satisfying meal!
