Teriyaki Steak Salad

Tender Braveheart new york strip is slowly marinated in a  perfectly seasoned marinade to create a unique and addictive flavor. This flavorful cut is laid atop a bed of fresh, crisp mixed greens and fresh vegetables. Serve this dish as a side or an entree for a pleasing dining experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp finely grated ginger

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

  • 3 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 t Sesame Oil

  • Juice from ½ a lime

  • 4 spring onions, chopped

  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 2 ½ cups mixed greens

  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts

  • 2 Limes cut into wedges

Directions

  1. Combine ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, sugar, and honey in a large bowl. Whisk together until well combined. Place steak in the bowl, making sure it is well coated with the marinade. Let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes-8 hours.

  2. Place steak on a grill over medium-high heat and cook for 6 minutes on each side (or until the desired doneness). Remove steak from the grill and let rest before thinly slicing.

  3. Toss the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

  4. Served steak over a bed of greens and enjoy!
