Steakhouse Blues Pizza

Ingredients:

For the pizza dough:

- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1 teaspoon sugar

- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast

- 1 cup warm water

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the toppings:

- 8 ounces Braveheart sirloin filet steak

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

- 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled

- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (optional)

- Fresh arugula, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. combine the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the yeast is frothy.

3. whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt in a separate bowl. Add the olive oil to the yeast mixture, then gradually add the flour mixture. Stir until the dough starts to come together.

4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Form the dough into a ball.

5. Cover the dough in a greased bowl with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

6. Season the sirloin steak with salt and pepper while the dough rises. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

7. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

8. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and shape. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.

9. Drizzle a little olive oil over the dough. Arrange the grilled sirloin strips and cherry tomato halves evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and fresh thyme leaves on top.

10. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

11. Once cooked, remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top, if desired, for a tangy touch. Garnish with fresh arugula leaves

12. Allow the pizza to cool briefly before slicing it into wedges. Serve hot, and enjoy!
