Steak & Pear Salad

This grilled filet with pear walnut salad recipe is perfect for a quick, easy weeknight dinner or a fancy dinner party. The grilled filets are tender and juicy, with a crispy exterior from the grill.   • 2 Braveheart center-cut tenderloin filet steaks

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 cups mixed salad greens

  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette


  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Brush filets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the filets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.

  4. While the filets are cooking, prepare the salad. Toss the salad greens, sliced pears, crumbled blue cheese, and chopped walnuts in a large bowl.
