Not only are these tacos packed with bold, savory flavors, but they're also easy to make and perfect for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal prep time, you can whip up a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Braveheart top sirloin steak

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 4 pieces of flatbread (such as naan or pita)

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup diced red onion

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Olive oil

  • Optional: hot sauce or salsa for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to high heat.

  2. Mix the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the flank steak, making sure it's coated evenly.

  4. Drizzle the steak with olive oil, then place it on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.

  5. While the steak rests, prepare the flatbread. Brush each piece with a bit of olive oil, then place them on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side or until they're lightly toasted.

  6. Place a few slices of steak onto each piece of flatbread to assemble the tacos. Top with diced tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, and cilantro. Drizzle with lime juice and add hot sauce or salsa, if desired.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Note: If you don't have a grill, cook the steak in a skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Simply cook for 4-5 minutes per side or until it's cooked to your liking.
