Steak Buddha Bowl

This dish is the perfect combination of tender and juicy steak paired with a variety of fresh and colorful ingredients. The bowl is filled with cooked couscous as a base and topped with thinly sliced radishes, shredded green cabbage, diced cucumber, creamy avocado, crumbled feta cheese, and fresh cilantro. Drizzled with a zesty lime vinaigrette and garnished with lime wedges, this dish is not only delicious but also packed with nutrients.


  • 1 lb Braveheart New York strip steak

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup cooked couscous

  • 1/2 cup sliced radishes

  • 1/2 cup shredded green cabbage

  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber

  • 1/2 cup diced avocado

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • 1/4 cup lime vinaigrette

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges for garnish


  1. Preheat the grill or a skillet over high heat.

  2. Rub the steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill or pan-fry the steak for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare or until the desired doneness is reached.

  4. Remove the steak from the grill or skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.

  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked couscous, radishes, cabbage, cucumber, avocado, feta cheese, and cilantro.

  6. Drizzle the lime vinaigrette over the bowl and toss gently to combine.

  7. Divide the couscous mixture among bowls or plates, and top with the sliced steak.

  8. Garnish with lime wedges and serve immediately.
