Ingredients

  • 2 Braveheart Sirloin Filet Steaks

  • 4 large jalapenos

  • 1 can refried beans

  • 1 cup Cotija cheese

  • 12 white corn tortillas

Directions

  1. Preheat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place steaks on the skillet and cook on both sides for 5 minutes (or until desired internal temperature). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes. Once rested, shred or thinly slice the steaks. Set aside.

  2. Add jalapenos to the skillet and cook, turning the jalapenos frequently, for 10-15 minutes or until jalapenos are charred and tender. Remove from the pan, remove the seeds, and roughly chop the jalapenos.

  3. In a large bowl, combine refried beans, cotija cheese, roasted jalapenos, and shredded beef. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  4. Place mixture in the center of the tortillas and roll tightly.

  5. Place taquitos on a greased tray, seam side down, and air fry at 425F for 8-10 minutes.

  6. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
