Mini Corn Dogs

This dish is the perfect addition to any game day or party. These mini corn dogs are easy to make and so fun for any gathering. Tender Braveheart Ridgecrest Franks are dipped in batter and fried to perfection to create a tasty and satisfying treat. Make this dish at home for a fun experience.


  • 6 Braveheart Ridgecrest Franks, cut into thirds

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup white sugar

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 egg

  • Oil for frying

  • 18 wooden skewers


  1. Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, pepper, milk, and egg in a large bowl. Mix until a smooth batter forms.

  2. Insert a skewer into each frank and set aside.

  3. Heat enough oil in a pan to cover corn dogs on medium-high heat.

  4. Dip skewered franks into the batter and place in the frying oil. Cook until the corn dogs are golden brown and transport them to a platter.

  5. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
