Korean Corn Dog

Dotch the basic boring corn dog for this fun treat. This Korean corn dog wraps so many delicious flavors into one delicious handheld street food. It has the perfect flavorful, crispy outside and a cheesy, gooey inside that is packed with quality Braveheart beef. Try this unique dish out for a fun flavor experience!


  • 4 Braveheart Ridgecrest Franks

  • 1 potato, peeled and diced

  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs

  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese

  • ¾ cup lukewarm water

  • 1 ¼ tsp active dry yeast

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour

  • 4 wooden skewers

  • 2 cups canola oil


  1. In a medium sized bowl, combine water and yeast. Mix well and let sit for 2-5 minutes. Once the yeast mixture has rested, add sugar, salt, and flour and mix until it is a thick batter consistency.

  2. Add franks to skewers and wrap each frank in 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Dip the franks in batter, using a spinning motion, until the frank are fully covered in batter.

  3. Roll the battered frank in the cubed potatoes making sure to pack potatoes securely into the batter. Next, roll in panko breadcrumbs until the corn dog is fully coated.

  4. Heat canola oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and then fry corn dogs for 5-8 minutes or until they turn a rich golden brown color.

  5. Top with condiments of your choice, serve, and enjoy!
