Elevate your meal time with this luxury dish. Grilled Braveheart center cut filet is grilled to perfection and laid atop creamy, fluffy, truffle mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese. This dish is easy to recreate and offers a five star restaurant experience in your own kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 Braveheart Center Cut Tenderloin Filet Steaks

  • 5lbs russet potatoes

  • 4 tbsp white truffle oil

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

  • Flaky salt and fresh ground pepper

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp butter

  • Olive oil

Directions

  1. Start by peeling potatoes and cutting into bite size pieces. Transfer potatoes to a  large pot and add enough water to cover potatoes. Add to the stovetop on high heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer until potatoes are soft (about 15 mins).

  2. Once potatoes are cooked, drain them and transport to a large bowl. Using a potato masher or ricer, mash the potatoes until they are smooth and without lumps.

  3. Add ½ cup butter, heavy cream, parmesan, salt & pepper (to taste), and white truffle oil. Mix well until butter is melted and consistency is smooth.

  4. Season center cut steak with salt and pepper on all sides and let rest for 30 minutes. Heat oil and remaining butter in a skillet over medium high heat. Once oil is hot, add filet steak and sear on both sides until well browned. Baste steak with butter for 2 minutes.

  5. Add skillet to an oven at 450F for 3 minutes (or until the internal temperature is at the desired temperature). Remove the skillet from the oven and let the steak rest.

  6. Serve steak over truffle mashed potatoes and enjoy!
