Greek Tzatziki Burger

Ingredients

  • 4 Braveheart Black Angus Burgers

  • 4 sesame seed buns

  • 1 red onion, finely diced

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • ¾ cup parsley, chopped

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1 egg

For the sauce:

  • 2 cups plain greek yogurt

  • ¾ cup cucumber, shredded and squeezed dry

  • 1 ½ tbsp dill, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Toppings:

  • ½ cup feta cheese

  • ½ cup cucumbers, sliced

  • ½ cup arugula

  • 4 tomato slices

Directions:

  1. Add thawed burgers to a bowl with red onion, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, and egg. Mix until ingredients are well combined and form into 4 patties.

  2. Add patties to a grill over medium-high heat and cook until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and set aside.

  3. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, cucumber, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Mix until the sauce is a smooth consistency.

  4. Toast sesame seed buns on the grill until they are golden brown. Top buns with a layer of tzatziki sauce, then add burger and toppings.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
