Everything Bagel Dogs

This dish combines two classic ingredients to create a fun handheld snack. These tender Braveheart Ridgecrest Franks are wrapped in soft bagel dough and topped with everything bagel seasoning. Pair these Everything Bagel Dogs with your favorite dipping sauce for a fun treat.


  • 6 Braveheart Ridgecrest Franks

  • 1 ½ cups warm water

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 2 ½ tsp active dry yeast

  • 4 ½ cups all purpose flour

  • 4 tbsp melted butter

  • ¼ cup light brown sugar

  • ¼ cup baking soda

  • 4 tbsp everything bagel seasoning


  1. To a large bowl, add warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Mix well and rest, covered, for 10 minutes.

  2. After 10 minutes, add flour, melted butter, and brown sugar. Mix until a dough begins to form. Knead on a floured surface until dough becomes a large ball shape.

  3. Separate dough into 6 balls and roll each ball into a long snake-like shape.

  4. Wrap Ridgecrest Franks in rolled bagel dough and set aside.

  5. Bring a large pot of water to boil and add ¼ cup baking soda.

  6. Add bagel dogs to the pot and boil for 3-5 minutes.

  7. Remove bagel dogs from the water and transfer to a greased baking sheet. Top bagel dogs with everything bagel seasoning and bake at 400F for 10 minutes or until dough is golden brown.

  8. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
