Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Braveheart Black Angus Beef

  • 4 tbsp taco seasoning

  • ¼ cup hot sauce

  • 1 small white onion, diced

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 1 medium tomato, diced

  • 1 can of large biscuits

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ¼ cup cream cheese softened

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • 1 cup Colby jack cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef to the skillet and cook until browned (about 4-6 minutes). Add taco seasoning and hot sauce and mix well. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. Add oil to the skillet along with onion, jalapeno, and bell peppers. Sautee until vegetables begin to soften (about 3 minutes) and add the garlic. Cook until the garlic is aromatic. Remove from the pan, mix with the beef, and set aside.

  3. Place biscuit dough in a greased casserole dish and spread it in a thin layer to cover the bottom of the dish. Bake in the oven at 350F for 5-7 minutes.

  4. While the dough is baking, mix together sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and chili powder in a small bowl.

  5. Spread the beef in a layer over the biscuit crust and top with mayonnaise mixture and a layer of shredded cheese.

  6. Bake at 350F until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

  7. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
