Balsamic Steak Roll-Ups

Want an easy and nutrient-packed dinner? Try these Balsamic Steak Roll-ups. This dish packs all your favorite vegetables into one piece of juicy Braveheart steak. It is so fun and jam-packed with flavor. Try pairing this with your favorite sides to create the perfect week day meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 Braveheart New York Strip Steak

  • 1 large carrot, shaved

  • 1 zucchini, shaved

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • ½ onion, sliced

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 4 tbsp chives, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup red wine

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp seasoned salt

Directions

  1. Thinly slice new york strip steak lengthwise. If needed, pound steak until it is very thin.

  2. Add steak to a bowl with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinade in the fridge for 1-8 hours.

  3. Shave and slice all vegetables and add to a skillet with olive oil. Season with seasoned salt, garlic powder, and pepper and let cook until vegetables become tender.

  4. Place vegetables in the middle of thinly sliced steak and roll up. Secure roll-ups with a toothpick and set aside.

  5. Heat a large skillet or grill to medium-high heat and add steak roll-ups. Cook until steak is seared and thoroughly brown on all sides.

  6. Let cool and enjoy!
