Baked Ziti

Welcome to the ultimate comfort food experience: our Baked Ziti with Ground Beef! This irresistible dish combines succulent ziti pasta and savory ground beef blended with a unique medley of gooey cheeses – an amazing combination that is sure to have you wanting more.


  • 1 pound Braveheart Black Angus beef

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (28-ounce) can of crushed tomatoes

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 8 ounces of ziti pasta

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until they are soft, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the pot and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

  5. In a separate pot, cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and add it to the pot with the ground beef mixture.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

  7. Spread half of the pasta and ground beef mixture in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with half of the cheese mixture. Repeat with the remaining pasta and ground beef mixture, and cheese mixture.

  8. Bake the baked ziti in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Let the baked ziti cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
